Day walks and walking holidays

I have been a mountain and walking guide in Scotland and England for 25 years and I was a tourism director for 23 years. 

My favourite was and still is Rannoch Moor. Driving along the A82 from Bridge of Orchy to Glencoe was my first real impression of Scotland's unrivalled wilderness scenery. You just have to go out and start exploring. The picturesque Hebridean island beauty and the tamed national park style landscapes around Pitlochry are very precious to me, too.
